Research in Advancing Practice

Overview

This online event explores the research pillar of Advancing Practice and has been designed to increase knowledge and transform research skills. This will provide practitioners with a range of concepts and tools to contribute to developments in their profession, tackling common research problems.

This is designed for a multi-professional audience working across all levels of practice.

Learning Outcomes

1. Understand the role of research in advancing practice and ways it contributes to clinical decision making and service improvement
2. Identify ways to appraise research/evidence
3. Develop research awareness and inquiry skills
4. Enhance techniques to be able to apply evidence to practice by integrating learnt research skills
